Performance Software (PSW) is a software and systems engineering firm with a commitment to on-time, on-budget performance. Our company specializes in embedded avionics and full life-cycle solutions certifiable to DO-178B Level A. Additionally, we develop critical software for the power distribution and medical device industries. What We Do

PSW develops long-term relationships with OEMs interested in reducing schedule risk and cost overruns on large system/software programs. We provide turn-key solutions with our own DO-178B development processes, SQA staff, and full systems requirements, design, coding, integration, testing, and certification capabilities. Our company has built a culture of highly-talented teams of engineers who focus on getting the work done right the first time and meeting schedule deadlines. These experienced teams have consistently outperformed teams utilizing individual staff augmentation.

Why We Are Different

PSW provides systems and software development under Fixed-Price contracts. We work with our partners to carve out pieces of programs that are consistent with our experience base, leading to significant technical risk reduction. We jointly define a Statement of Work that outlines exactly what will be delivered and a single master schedule. Since the contract is fixed-price we only get paid for results, and not just for hours charged to a project. This has the powerful effect of aligning PSW goals with customer goals; the common goal of on-time performance drives on-budget performance. Moreover, with a focus on implementing lean processes and providing our own leadership to our teams, we minimize the burden of costly oversight for our customers.
